School Bus Extrication
This course combines a 3 hour lecture with 1 day of hands on evolutions( with an optional 2nd HOT day) that consists of a presentation designed to enhance the rescuer's understanding of school bus construction, design, and components, victim access and care, ICS for a large scale traumatic EMS incidents, types of tools and equipment required, and a wide variety of strategies & tactics when dealing with school bus collisions. The Hands-On portion of this program gives the rescuer multiple stations utilizing many different tools and equipment, all while maintaining a safe working environment for victims and rescuers alike. Multiple scenarios are offered during this training.
