Extrication for the Short Staffed Crew
This presentation will address how to utilize our personnel at motor vehicle extrications. We will discuss the importance of proper staffing levels and the pitfalls of failing to maintain these. This program will also cover ways to provide more dynamic supervision and deliberate training to our personnel while balancing the complexities of providing appropriate medical care to those entrapped. The goal of this program is to provide the chiefs, officers, EMT's and firefighters with some basic operations and training that will make an immediate positive impact on the safety of their crews and patients upon their return from this training. This course has been delivered at the FDIC.
