Mark D. Antozzeski has been in the fire service since 1983. Antozzeski is currently the career Fire Chief with the Hamilton Township Fire District #9, Hamilton, New Jersey. Antozzeski is a former U.S. Air Force military firefighter, rising through the ranks from Airman through Sergeant operating in the positions of Firefighter/Driver/Operator/Crew Chief/Inspector while stationed in the United Kingdom at RAF Upper Heyford, and at McGuire AFB, New Jersey. He received three U.S. Air Force Achievement Awards for Outstanding Service between 1988-1990. Antozzeski has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Science from the University of Maryland, University College, in College Park, Maryland. He is currently in his second year of the Executive Fire Officer Program at the Office of Domestic Preparedness, U.S. Fire Administration, National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Chief Antozzeski was a lecturer at the FDIC East 2005 conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. His topic was "Training From The Top Down." He is also a NJ State Division of Fire Safety Certified Fire Service Instructor Level II, and SCBA/Smoke House Instructor. Antozzeski works as a part time instructor at two county fire academies: Mercer County Fire Academy in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and Burlington County Fire Academy in Mount Holly, New Jersey. He instructs various classes at both facilities, such as: Firefighter I, RIT, NFA- ICS, Strip Mall Tactics, Managing Company Tactical Operations, Safety and Survival, and Vehicle Extrication.
