John J Lewis is a veteran of the fire service since 1978 and is currently assigned to Ladder Company 2 in the City of Passaic (NJ) Fire Department, John holds NJ State certifications as Firefighter I, Fire Inspector, Fire Official, Fire Service Level 2 Instructor and Fire Investigator. He is also an instructor at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute and the Fire Official in the Borough of East Newark, NJ,and has been an instructor at the FDIC in Indianapolis (IN) FDIC West in Sacramento (CA), FDIC East in Atlantic City (NJ) and the Firehouse Expo in Baltimore (MD), John is also a founding member and past president of the Jersey Fraternal Order Of Leatherheads Society.
